This is lovely Donna, you've really captured its geranium-ness!! You've also got great light and shadows!! It's a great idea to experiment during the challenge. I've been pleased to come across some different approaches myself over the last three weeks. Good luck with the next 10 days!
Thank you Wendy Barrett for you post on my Geranium. It is one of my favorites of this months 30/30 Painting Challenge of Leslie Saeta. I forced myself to only paint what I saw and not what I thought they looked like for the photo I found on the internet. This month I am trying new techniques to try to find my "artistic voice".
By the way, I noticed on your blog the post with the wrench. My husband make requests too. He says I do not paint enough "guy" things. That is how all the fishing bobbers and fish items came into being. I have a "construction" type painting set aside for later this month to try myself. Check back to see how I do.
