12/30 September Painting Challenge

6x6 Carnation 
This painting was inspired by Leslie Saeta's palette knife painting.  I have a lot to learn when it comes to painting with the palette knife but that is what this challenge is all about trying those pieces I have always wanted to paint.

    Love this! Great colors. The palette knife really shows the intricate petals of the carnation.

      Thank you Paula it is harder than it looks to get the color from mixing too much. Trick is to lay the paint down and don't go back over it. I really need to work on that trick more and more. I appreciate your note very much.
